Best Practices for Dedicated Server Operation

Account Management Approach

  1. Create accounts per person: Issue one account per employee
  2. Minimize permissions: Grant only necessary permissions (principle of least privilege)
  3. Regular inventory: Regularly check and delete accounts for departing/transferred employees

Workgroup Design Approach

  1. Design according to organizational structure: Create workgroups by department/team
  2. Delegate authority: Delegate management of each workgroup to field leaders
  3. Handle concurrent assignments: One user can belong to multiple workgroups

Security Measures

  1. Use device restrictions: Set platform-specific access restrictions when limiting access from outside the company
  2. Export restrictions: Set "No Export" permission for users handling confidential information
  3. Use Reader permission: Set "Reader" permission for users who don't need to edit
