Cannot open the web UI

If /api/ping does not respond, the process is likely not running.
Signed in but “no permission”
See Sign-in and permissions: you need a paid plan, or if you are not a paid-plan subscriber you must belong to a workgroup as owner or sharing administrator. Escalate to your administrator.
Nothing syncs / some files fail
- Source path exists? Network drive still connected?
- Files locked by another app?
- Edit permission on the target book in Coordinator?
- Logs show API or token errors?
Reset database or settings
Deleting handbookXSync.db wipes local configuration and history. Back up and follow organizational policy first. Windows: C:\ProgramData\HandbookXAggregationTool\. Mac: install directory.

- Tool version
- Approximate time of the issue
- Redacted excerpts from web or file logs
- Which Coordinator URL (prod vs. test)
