3. Book List
The book list screen displays and manages all accessible books.
Book List Screen
This is the main screen displayed after login.
Screen Layout
- Navigation Bar: At the top. Menu button, title, search and sort buttons
- Group Tabs: Tabs for filtering books by group
- Book List: List of books (grid or list view)
- Sync Indicator: Icon and progress showing sync status
Book Card
Each book displays the following information:
- Cover Image: Book thumbnail
- Title: Book name
- Sync Status Icon: Downloaded, syncing, update available, etc.
- Updated Date: Last update date (in list view)
Switching Display Mode
You can switch between book display formats.
Grid View
Arranges books in a tile layout. Cover images are displayed larger, making it easier to find books visually.
- Tap the grid icon in the navigation bar
- On iPad and Mac, more books can be displayed at once
List View
Arranges books in a single column. Detailed information such as title and update date is displayed.
- Tap the list icon in the navigation bar
- More efficient when you have many books
Sorting Books
You can change the display order of books.
- Tap the sort icon in the navigation bar
- Select a sort condition:
- Name (A-Z/Z-A): Alphabetical order
- Updated (Newest/Oldest): By last update date
- Created (Newest/Oldest): By creation date
Searching Books
You can search for books by keyword.
- Tap the search icon in the navigation bar
- Enter a keyword in the search bar
- Books matching the title will be displayed
- To clear the search, tap the × button or close the search bar
Filtering by Group
You can filter books by group.
Group Tabs
Use the tabs at the top of the screen to switch between groups:
- All: Show all books
- Group Name: Show only books in that group
Book Synchronization
Book content is synchronized with the server.
Sync Status Icons
A sync status icon is displayed at the bottom right of the book cover image.

| Downloaded | Content is downloaded to the device. Available offline |
Note: When you tap a downloaded book, a "Reference Cloud Content" dialog appears, allowing you to delete local content and switch to cloud reference.
Tip: Newly shared books are initially in cloud mode. This prevents unexpected storage consumption when books contain large content such as videos. To download shared books automatically, enable "Automatic download of shared book content" in Settings.
Update Notifications
When a book has updates, an "UPDATE" or "NEW" label is displayed at the bottom left of the cover image.
- NEW: Newly shared book
- UPDATE: Book with updated content
Manual Sync
- Swipe down on the screen
Creating Books
If you have editing permissions, you can create new books.
- Tap the "+" button at the bottom right
- Select "New Book"
- Enter book information:
- Title: Book name (required)
- Description: Book description
- Cover Image: Take a photo or select from library
- Tap "Save"
Importing Books
You can create books directly from PDF files.
- Tap the "+" button
- Select "Import from File"
- Select the file to import
- Enter the book name and tap "Import"
Editing and Deleting Books
Books you have editing permissions for can be edited or deleted.
Note: To edit a book, the book must be downloaded (local mode) in addition to having edit permission. Books in cloud reference mode cannot be edited.
Editing Books
- Long press on a book
- Select "Edit" from the context menu
- Change the necessary items and "Save"
Deleting Books
- Long press on a book
- Select "Delete" from the context menu
- Tap "Delete" in the confirmation dialog
Warning: Deleting a book also deletes all sections in that book. This action cannot be undone.
