1. Introduction
Welcome to the Handbook X Android app. This manual explains the basic operations of the app.
Overview
Handbook X is a Mobile Content Management (MCM) application for securely managing and distributing business content.
Key Features
- Book Management: Manage various content formats such as PDFs, images, videos, and web pages as books
- Offline Viewing: Downloaded content can be viewed offline
- Secure Sharing: Share content securely using workgroups and access codes
- Messages: Send and receive messages between users
- Exams & Surveys: Take exams and answer surveys created with Question Studio
- Camera Integration: Capture photos and videos with the device camera and add them to sections
- QR Code Scanning: Scan QR codes to add books or join workgroups
- Push Notifications: Receive workgroup invitations and messages in real time
Terminology
| Term | Description |

| Book | A unit for storing content. Consists of multiple sections |
| Section | A content unit within a book. Can be a PDF, image, video, web page, etc. |
| Workgroup | A group unit for managing users and content |
| Access Code | A temporary code for accessing a book |
| Group | A unit for grouping users. Used in sharing settings |
System Requirements
Android
- OS Version: Android 11 or higher
- Supported Devices: Android smartphones and tablets
- Memory: 4 GB or more
- Storage: At least 100 MB of free space (additional space required for content)
- Network: Internet connection required for initial login and syncing
Recommended Environment
- Display: 720p or higher
- Network: Stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection
Installation
Installing from Google Play Store
- Open the Google Play Store
- Search for "Handbook X"
- Tap "Install"
- After installation, launch Handbook X from the home screen or app drawer
Screen Layout
The main screen of the app consists of the following elements.
Navigation Bar
Located at the top of the screen, it contains the following elements:
- Menu Button
: Located in the upper left. Tap to display the side menu - Title: Displays the name of the current screen
- Action Buttons: Context-specific buttons (search, sort, etc.)
Side Menu
A panel that appears on the left when you tap the menu button. You can access the following items:
