2. Login & Sign Up
You need to log in with a Handbook X account to use the app.
Login Screen
When you launch the app for the first time, the login screen is displayed.
The following options are available on the login screen:
- Sign in with Google: Log in or sign up with a Google account
- Log in with Email: Log in with an existing account
- Use Invitation Code: Sign up with an invitation code
- Dedicated Server: Log in to a dedicated server
- Sign Up Here: Create a new account
Google Sign-In
You can easily log in or sign up using your Google account.
- Tap "Sign in with Google" on the login screen
- The Google account selection screen appears
- Select the Google account you want to use
- If this is your first time, grant the required permissions
- Upon successful authentication, you will be taken to the book list screen
Note: A Handbook X account will be automatically created with the email address linked to your Google account. If an account with the same email address already exists, it will be linked to that account.
Email Login
If you already have an account, log in with your email address and password.
- Enter your email address

Enter your email address on the login screen

Enter your password in the password field

Tap "Log In"
- Upon successful authentication, you will be taken to the book list screen
Dedicated Server Login
If you have a dedicated server subscription, log in from the dedicated server screen.

Tap "Dedicated Server" on the login screen

Enter the dedicated server name

Enter the dedicated server name provided during your subscription

Enter your account name
-
Enter the account name issued by your administrator

Enter your password
-
Enter your account password
-
Tap "Log In"
- Upon successful authentication, you will be taken to the book list screen
Note: The dedicated server name, account name, and password are provided by your organization's administrator.
Sign Up
If you do not have a Handbook X account, you can create a new one.

Tap "Don't have an account? Sign up here" on the login screen

Enter your email address
- Enter a valid email address

This email address will become your login ID

Set a password
-
Your password must meet the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- Contains both letters and numbers
- Contains both uppercase and lowercase letters

Tap "Sign Up"

Enter the verification code
- A verification code will be sent to the email address you entered
- Enter the 6-digit code from the email

The code is valid for 10 minutes

Once verification is complete, you will be automatically logged in and taken to the book list screen
Note: If you do not receive the verification email, check your spam folder.
Sign Up with Invitation Code
If you have received an invitation code from a workgroup administrator, you can use it to sign up.

Tap "Use Invitation Code" on the login screen

Enter your last name and first name

Enter your last name and first name

Enter the invitation code

Enter the invitation code received from the administrator

Enter your email address
-
Enter a valid email address

Set a password
-
Enter your password
-
Tap "Log In"
- You will be automatically logged in and joined to the workgroup
Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following these steps.

Tap "Forgot your password?" on the login screen

Enter your email address
-
Enter the email address registered with your account
-
Tap "Reset Password"

A password reset email will be sent

Tap the link in the email
-
A password reset page will open in your browser

Set a new password
-
Enter and save your new password
-
Return to the app and log in with your new password
Offline Mode
If you remain logged in, you can use the app without an internet connection.
- Downloaded books can be viewed
- Syncing of new content will occur when you go back online
- Some features (sharing settings, sending messages, etc.) are restricted while offline
If "Offline" is displayed at the top of the screen, you have no network connection.
