3. Book List

The book list screen lets you view and manage all books you have access to.

This is the main screen displayed after logging in.

Each book displays the following information:

Switching Display Modes

You can switch the display format for books.

Grid View

Books are arranged as tiles. Cover images are displayed larger, making it easier to visually locate books.

List View

Books are arranged in a single vertical column. Detailed information such as titles and update dates are displayed.

Sorting Books

You can change the display order of books.

  1. Tap the sort icon Sort in the navigation bar
  2. Select a sort criteria:
  3. Manual: Freely reorder by drag & drop (tap the ↑ icon to toggle ascending/descending)
  4. Name: Alphabetical order
  5. Created Date: Order by book creation date
  6. Updated Date: Order by last updated date
  7. Book Size: Order by file size

Searching Books

You can search for books by keyword.

  1. Tap the search icon Search in the navigation bar
  2. Enter a keyword in the search bar
  3. Books matching the keyword in their title will be displayed
  4. To clear the search, tap the × button or close the search bar

Filtering by Workgroup

You can filter books by workgroup.

Workgroup Tabs

Use the tabs at the top of the screen to switch the displayed workgroup:

If you have many workgroups, swipe horizontally to view more workgroups.

Syncing Books

Book content is synced with the server.

Sync Status Icons

A sync status icon is displayed in the lower right of each book's cover image.

Status Icon Description
Cloud Reference Cloud Referencing content on the server. Not downloaded to the device
Downloaded Local Content has been downloaded to the device. Available offline

Note: Tapping a downloaded book displays the "Reference Cloud Content" dialog, allowing you to delete local content and switch to cloud reference.

Tip: Newly shared books default to cloud mode to prevent unexpected storage or mobile data consumption when books contain large content such as videos. To automatically download, go to Settings > "Auto-download shared book content" and turn it ON.

Update Notifications

When a book has updates, a "New" or "Update" label is displayed in the lower left of the cover image.

Manual Sync

  1. Tap the refresh button in the toolbar

Auto Sync

The app automatically syncs at launch and at regular intervals.

Note: We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection when downloading large books. Please be mindful of mobile data usage.

Creating Books

If you have editing permissions, you can create new books.

  1. Tap the "+" button at the bottom right of the screen
  2. Select "New Book"
  3. Enter book information:
  4. Title: Book name (required)
  5. Description: Book description
  6. Cover Image: Choose from gallery or take a photo with the camera
  7. Tap "Save"

The created book will be saved in the workgroup you belong to.

Tip: On the Android version, you can also take a photo directly with the camera when setting the cover image.

Adding Books via QR Code

You can scan a QR code to directly add books or access codes.

  1. Select "QR Code Scan" from the menu on the book list screen
  2. The camera will launch and display the QR code scanning screen
  3. Position the QR code within the camera frame to automatically scan it
  4. Depending on the scan result, books will be added or access codes will be registered

Editing & Deleting Books

Books you have editing permissions for can be edited or deleted.

Note: To edit a book, the book must be downloaded (in local mode) in addition to having editing permissions. Books in cloud reference mode cannot be edited.

Entering Edit Mode

  1. Tap the edit button (pencil icon) in the toolbar at the upper right of the screen
  2. In edit mode, the screen changes as follows:
  3. Upper Left: "Select All" button (select/deselect all books)
  4. Upper Center: Selection status display ("No books selected" or "X books selected")
  5. Upper Right: "Done" button (exit edit mode)
  6. Upper Left of Each Book: Selection checkbox (round icon)
  7. Bottom of Screen: Action bar (Edit, Duplicate, Share, Export, Info, Delete)
  8. Tap a book to select it; a checkmark will appear

Editing a Book

  1. In edit mode, tap the book you want to edit to select it (a checkmark appears)
  2. Tap "Edit" in the action bar at the bottom of the screen
  3. The edit dialog appears
  4. Modify the desired fields and tap "Done"

Editable fields: - Title - Description - Cover image (tap the image icon to change; camera capture also available)

Deleting a Book

  1. In edit mode, tap the book you want to delete to select it
  2. Tap "Delete" in the action bar at the bottom of the screen
  3. A confirmation dialog appears
  4. Type "delete" in the input field
  5. Tap the "Delete Book" button

Warning: Deleting a book will also delete all sections within it. This action cannot be undone. You must type "delete" to confirm and prevent accidental deletion.

Multiple Book Operations

In edit mode, you can select multiple books at once:

  1. In edit mode, tap multiple books to select them
  2. "X books selected" is displayed at the top of the screen
  3. Select an action from the action bar at the bottom
  4. Tap "Select All" to select all books at once

Action Bar Buttons

The action bar contains the following buttons. Availability varies by selection count and permissions:

Share Only for books you own
Export Requires export permission

Delete Requires deletion permission

Note: The "Edit", "Share", and "Info" buttons are disabled when multiple books are selected. These actions are only available when a single book is selected.
