11. Settings
The settings screen lets you customize the app's behavior.
Settings Dialog
Select "Settings" from the side menu to display the settings dialog.
Title Bar

| Left | Close | Close the dialog without saving changes |

Show Author Name on Book Cover
| Setting | Description |

| Show Author Name on Book Cover | When ON, the author's name is displayed on book covers in the book list |
Section Content
Settings related to section content.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Auto-download Shared Book Content | When ON, content from shared books is automatically downloaded |
| Content Cache | Displays the cache usage (e.g., 0B). Tap to go to the cache management screen |
| Import Title for Images/Videos | Set the section name used when importing (see below) |
Import Title for Images/Videos
Tapping this displays a popup menu with the following options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| File Name | Use the file name as the section title (default) |
| Untitled | Use "Untitled" as the section title |
| Location | Use GPS location as the section title |
| Time | Use the date and time as the section title |
Tip: "Auto-download Shared Book Content" is OFF by default to prevent unintentional storage or mobile data consumption when books contain large content such as videos.
Content Cache Management
Tap "Content Cache" to display the cache management screen.
- The current cache size is displayed
- Tap the "Clear Cache" button to delete the cache and free up space
Book List
Settings for the tabs on the book list screen.

Workgroup Tab Settings
Tap "Show/Hide Workgroup Tabs" to display the workgroup list.
- Toggle the visibility of each workgroup using checkmarks
- Drag the drag handle to change the display order
PDF Viewing
Configure the default behavior of the PDF viewer.
Scroll Direction
Set the scroll direction for PDFs. Choose from two buttons:

| Vertical (↕) | Scroll vertically |
| Horizontal (↔) | Scroll horizontally |
The current setting is displayed below the item name (e.g., "Horizontal").
Display Method
Set the PDF display method. Choose from two buttons:

|---|---|
| Single Page (□) | Display one page at a time (swipe to navigate) |
| Continuous Pages (凹) | Display pages continuously (scroll to navigate) |
The current setting is displayed below the item name (e.g., "Continuous Pages").
Video Recording
Settings related to video recording.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Compress Video | When ON, recorded videos are compressed |
| Video Quality | Select quality when compressing: "Low", "Medium", or "High" |
Video Quality
Select the quality using the segmented control:

| Low | Low quality (smaller file size) |
| Medium | Medium quality |
| High | High quality (larger file size) |
