10. Account Management
You can manage multiple Handbook X accounts on a single device.
Account Management Dialog
Select "Account Management" from the side menu to display the account management dialog.

Screen Layout
The dialog consists of the following elements:
- Account List: All registered accounts are displayed in a list
- Log Out: Log out of the current account (red text)
- Delete Account: Permanently delete the account (conditional)
Account List Display
Each account displays the following information:

| Profile Image | Account avatar (initials or image) |
| Name | Account display name (last name, first name) |
| Email Address | Email address used for login |
| Server URL | URL of the connected server (e.g., https://my.handbookx.com) |
| Checkmark (✓) | A blue checkmark is shown for the currently logged-in account |
| Delete Button | A delete button is shown for accounts that are not currently logged in |
Switching Accounts
You can switch between registered accounts.
How to Switch
- Open the account management dialog
- Tap the account you want to switch to
- The login screen appears
- Enter your password and log in
After Switching
- You are logged in to the selected account
- The book list for that account is displayed
Note: Tapping the currently logged-in account (with checkmark) has no effect.
Removing an Account (from Device)
You can remove an account you no longer need from the device.
How to Remove
- Open the account management dialog
- Tap the delete button on the row of the account you want to remove
- The account is removed from the list
Note: The delete button is not shown for the currently logged-in account. Switch to a different account first before removing it.
Notes on Removal
- The account itself is not deleted: Only the registration on the device is removed
- Local data is deleted: Content downloaded for that account is deleted
- Server data is retained: Books and settings remain on the server
- Re-registration is possible: You can log in with the same account again to add it back
Logging Out
You can log out of the current account.
How to Log Out
- Open the account management dialog
- Tap "Log Out" (red text) at the bottom of the account list
- The logout process runs
- You are returned to the login screen
Deleting an Account (Permanent)
Tap the "Delete Account" button to permanently delete the account from the service.
Warning: This feature is only available under certain conditions (e.g., Free plan). If the button is grayed out, it cannot be used.
How to Delete
- Open the account management dialog
- Tap "Delete Account" at the bottom of the screen
- A confirmation dialog appears
- Enter the account's email address to confirm
- The deletion is executed
Notes on Deletion
- This action cannot be undone
- All saved handbooks will be deleted
- The Handbook X service account will also be deleted
Multiple Account Usage
Registering multiple accounts is useful in the following scenarios:
- Work and Personal: Separate accounts for different purposes
- Multiple Organizations: Participate in workgroups from multiple companies or organizations
- Different Servers: Access different servers such as production and development environments
Adding Accounts
To add a new account, perform the normal login operation from the login screen. Upon successful login, the account is automatically added to the account list.
