11. Workgroups
Workgroups are the basic unit for managing users and content.
Workgroup Screen
Select "Workgroup" from the side menu to display the workgroup screen.
Toolbar

| Center | Tab Switch | Toggle between "Owned Workgroups" and "Joined Workgroups" |

Tab Types
- Owned Workgroups: Workgroups you create and manage
- Joined Workgroups: Workgroups you've been invited to join by other users
Owned Workgroups
Manage workgroups you own.
Screen Layout
Workgroups are displayed in collapsible sections:
- My Workgroup: Your personal workgroup. Only members you have invited and shared with individually are shown here. Books shared via "Share" or "Access code" are not listed in My Workgroup.
- Created Workgroups: Additional workgroups you've created
Workgroup Header
Each workgroup header displays the following items:

| Workgroup Name | Name of the workgroup |
| Use Participation | When ON, other users can request to join |
| Add Member | Button to invite members |
| Delete | Button to delete the workgroup (red trash icon) |
| Expand/Collapse | Arrow to expand/collapse the section |
Member List
When a workgroup is expanded, the member list is displayed:

| Delete | Button to remove the member |
Member Permissions
The following permissions can be set from the permission dropdown:
| Permission | Description |
|---|---|
| No Sharing Rights | Can only view books |
| Sharing Rights Admin | Can manage book sharing settings |
| Owner | Full management rights for the workgroup |
Pending Invitations
Members who have been invited but haven't accepted yet are also shown in the list:
- Email address and invitation status are displayed
- Status messages like "Invitation code expired"
- Cancel: Cancel the invitation
- Resend: Resend the invitation email
Creating Workgroups
Creation Steps
- Select the "Owned Workgroups" tab
- Tap "Add" on the right side of the toolbar
- The workgroup creation dialog appears
- Enter the workgroup name
- Tap "Create"
After Creation
- You are automatically registered as the owner
- You can invite members
Inviting Members
Invitation Steps
- Tap the Add Member button on the workgroup header you want to invite to
- An email address input dialog appears
- Enter the email address of the user to invite
- Tap "Invite"
After Invitation
- An invitation email is sent
- The member appears as "Invited" in the member list
- They become a full member when they accept
Use Participation Settings
When the "Use Participation" toggle is ON, a QR code icon appears.
Inviting via QR Code
- Tap the QR code icon
- A QR code for joining the workgroup is displayed
- Other users can scan the QR code to request to join
Deleting Workgroups
Deletion Steps
- Tap the delete button (red trash icon) on the header of the workgroup you want to delete
- A confirmation dialog appears
- Enter the workgroup name to confirm
- Tap "Delete"
Warning: Deleting a workgroup will delete all member data. This action cannot be undone.
Joined Workgroups
If you've joined other users' workgroups, they appear in this tab.
Screen Layout
- Workgroup names are displayed in a list
- Each workgroup can be expanded to view details
Leaving a Workgroup
- Swipe left on the row of the workgroup you want to leave
- The exit button appears
- Tap "Exit"
- Tap "OK" in the confirmation dialog
Note: After leaving, you will no longer have access to books in that workgroup.
Joining Workgroups
Join Steps
- Select the "Joined Workgroups" tab
- Tap "Join" on the right side of the toolbar
- Select a join method:
- QR Code Scan: Read a QR code with the camera
- Enter Invitation Code: Manually enter an invitation code
After Joining
- A join request is sent
- Once the workgroup owner approves, you can access the books
